Bosnia Marathon offers a more challenging Rally GPX track and an easier Classic track each riding day. There is no racing or timekeeping, and you ride at your own pace. You should be confident riding your own motorcycle on loose gravel and forest tracks.

Sport enduros and adventure motorcycles such as the Yamaha Ténéré, BMW GS, KTM Adventure, Honda Africa Twin and Husqvarna are suitable with road-legal registration, insurance and suitable off-road tyres. The on-road Balkan Grand Tour is suitable for road-legal touring motorcycles.

You receive checked GPX files for the Rally and Classic routes before departure. Ride independently or in a small group; the team can help load the tracks onto your GPS device or smartphone at registration.

Bosnia Marathon 2027 (6 riding days, 7 nights) costs €899 with rider camp/camping, €1,099 in a double room and €1,299 in a single room, all with breakfast. A companion in a double room costs €399. The all-in package with a rental motorcycle (Honda CRF 300 L Rally), entry, accommodation and navigation costs €3,499. Payment is by bank transfer; your place is confirmed once payment is received.

Six riding days with Rally and Classic GPX tracks, accommodation with breakfast, OWAKA GPS tracking, briefings, on-site service with technical support, an emergency team and photo and video coverage. You arrange your own travel to Kupres and bring your own motorcycle.

Yes, if you have some experience on loose surfaces. Each day there is an easier Classic route for newcomers and large adventure bikes, plus a tarmac option for individual sections. We also arrange free off-road training with an experienced motorcycle instructor, starting three days before the event; he also accompanies the group during the riding days.

Bosnia Marathon 2027 runs from 12 to 19 June 2027. The base is Hotel Adria Ski in Kupres, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Stages lead to Bihać, Sarajevo and Neum on the Adriatic coast, each returning to Kupres on a new route.
