Bosnia Marathon #4 2027

Welcome to Bosnia Marathon #4 2027: six riding days and around 1,500 kilometres through some of Bosnia and Herzegovina's most beautiful and remote landscapes. Our base is Hotel Adria Ski in Kupres. Three two-day stages head to Bihać, Sarajevo and Neum: ride to each destination on day one, then return to Kupres on a different route the next day. Choose longer, more technical Rally tracks or easier Classic tracks each day; individual sections can be bypassed on tarmac. This is not a race: there is no timing or pressure, so enjoy the journey at your own pace.

The experience

Saturday, June 12: arrive at Hotel Adria Ski, register and check in, complete a technical motorcycle inspection, collect your OWAKA GPS device and attend the group briefing
Around 70% off-road and 30% road: gravel, forest tracks, rocky trails and varied mountain landscapes
Two GPX tracks each riding day: a longer, more technical Rally route for experienced off-road riders and an easier Classic route for beginners and large adventure bikes
An asphalt option lets you bypass individual sections whenever needed
Stages 1–2: Kupres to Bihać, then back to Kupres the next day on a different route
Stages 3–4: Kupres to Sarajevo, then back to Kupres the next day on a different route
Stages 5–6: Kupres to Neum on the Adriatic, then back to Kupres the next day on a different route
Tailored for sport enduros, dual-sports and big adventure bikes (KTM, Yamaha Ténéré, BMW GS, Honda Africa Twin, Husqvarna, etc.)
Professional GPX tracks supplied beforehand by email across routes praised by Dakar Rally veterans
OWAKA GPS tracking throughout all six riding days
Daily schedule: breakfast from 7–8 AM, departure at 8:30 AM and briefing at 7 PM

Rider requirements

Road-legal sport enduro, dual-sport or adventure motorcycle with valid registration and insurance (green card)
Knobbly off-road tyres for maximum traction and riding safety on gravel and mountain soil
CE-protective riding gear, waterproof rain suit and a hydration backpack
Carry a puncture repair kit and tools, and be able to handle minor repairs on your own bike; on-site support is available
Fitness and enthusiasm for around 1,500 km and six riding days; some experience on loose surfaces is required, but professional or racing experience is not

Accommodation

Our shared base is Hotel Adria Ski, Čajuša bb, Kupres, where vehicles and trailers can remain during the tour. Each two-day stage includes an overnight stay in Bihać, Sarajevo or Neum, followed by a different route back to Kupres. Neum accommodation is planned at a hotel on the Adriatic coast; weather and schedule permitting, there may be time for a swim before sunset. The final riding day returns to the base in Kupres.

Travel and navigation

Make your way to Hotel Adria Ski, Čajuša bb, Kupres. Vehicles and trailers can remain at the base during the tour. We can help arrange car-pooling on request. Rally and Classic GPX tracks are provided for all six riding days; OWAKA tracking uses devices issued on site.

Booking and payment

Due to high demand, places cannot be held without payment. Payment is accepted by bank transfer only. Your place is confirmed once payment has been received.
